I got the card and the package. Thank you soooo so much. I love getting mail. And the dress worked. I wore it yesterday.

And you're right about the video. That is exactly what I said about it. You know me too well. But good luck with your conference, let me know how it goes. I wish I was there to make 200 cupcakes with you! That sounds like fun! Send me pictures. I'm glad you like the book I told you to read. I like it too and I'm almost finished with it. I'm almost finished with the Book of Mormon too. I started Ether today!!

Things have been pretty good here. I'm getting sick though. I don't know if it's a cold or if my allergies have just gotten really bad so I stocked up on cold and allergy medicine today (that's why I spent so much money at walmart today FYI) But my head is killing me, my throat hurts, and my nose is stuffed and runny. Hopefully it goes away soon. 

Last P-day we went to a pottery painting place with the other sisters here and the lady that worked there started talking to us and told us that she is going to temple square in a couple weeks! She is so excited to go and had all these questions for us. We got her contact info and she said she would love for us to come over once she gets back. It was so cool and was another example of how the Lord is preparing people for us to teach. I mean, what are the chances that someone from Brunswick,GA would be going to temple square??

I can't remember if you are up to date on everything that's going on with Mindy and her boys, but they aren't living in a motel anymore! They just got into project housing on Monday, so we got to help them move in. They don't have anything though, it's really sad. Do we have any pictures of temples or Christ or family proclamations that you could send so she could have something up on her walls? Kristin is doing good and we're seeing her tonight. We are going to help her paint her house soon, so that will be fun. Also, we saw Vicky this week. She is the one that ordered a BoM a really long time ago in New Jersey. Anyways, we saw her and said that she missed us and wasn't ignoring us, but her husband didn't want us to come back. We are going to help her with her yard tomorrow, so hopefully we can teach her while we work. 

There is a stake talent show in march and each ward is supposed to have an act, so our Bishop volunteered Sis. merchant and I as Brunswick 1st's act. We don't really know what to do yet. So let me know if you have any ideas. Sister Merchant has been teaching me how to play the mandolin, so that's been fun. I'm thinking about having you send my violin... if you haven't already sold it... But I don't know. If you send it I just want to practice it and not have to actually play in front of people because I'm not very good.

P.S: I found out that the average weight gain in this mission is 30lbs.... THAT CAN"T HAPPEN!! SO us and another set of sisters are doing "Biggest Loser" Hahah. Which isn't really biggest loser, we're just all trying to lose weight and eat healthier. So far I've lost two pounds. Southern cooking is my worst enemy. Haha Love you

It sounds like you had an exciting weekend! How far are you in the missionary book?

Sister Wiggins is so addicted and I'm not sure she is completely committed to quitting yet, so for now we are focusing on the kids. Kristin is doing great!!! I'm so happy for her. All of our lessons with her went so well. We have a cool story about her deciding to be baptized and picking a date. We met with her and she told us that after reading Alma 32, she knew that she just needed to have faith and be baptized. It is so cool to see how the spirit works, we were prompted to have her read that chapter and that was what helped her make the decision. Also, we had her pray about a day to get baptized, so when we got there we told her that we usually do baptisms on Sunday and asked if she had thought of a day. She said that for some reason March 2 had kept popping into her head so we looked at a calendar and saw that it was a Sunday! It was so neat to be there when she realized she had received such a specific answer to her prayer, because she hadn't even looked at a calendar and din't know we did baptisms on Sunday. (Hopefully that story makes sense, I'm writing this really fast) Also, after she picked a day, she told us that part of the reason she is getting baptized is because of me. She said for some reason she is "drawn to me" and gets along well with me. This was such a cool experience for me, because I know that Heavenly Father works through us as a missionaries to teach the gospel, but after that experience I felt like I was truly needed here in Brunswick. I am exactly where I'm supposed to be. There are people here that are being prepared to hear the gospel, not from just anyone, but from ME! She is so excited and said that she thought when we first started teaching her that she might want to get baptized, but she didn't think she would want to so bad! 

It was such a good week!

Helllooooo!

It sounds like you have been pretty busy lately. 

Zone conference was good, mostly we just got trained on how to use our iPads. We are the third mission in the world to get iPads. They were talking about how this is how everyone is going to hear the gospel, through the internet, and some countries might never open up to let missionaries in, but we will still be able to teach them online. It's cool to think that that is the purpose of all the technology that we have today, to share the gospel.

We can download everything we need, so we don't need wifi. We just come to the church to use facebook and sync our planners/area books. 

Sister Merchant got her mandolin mailed to her. I want to learn how to play it! It has the same strings as a violin so I already know all the notes and fingerings, I would just have to learn chords. We're going to start practicing hymns so that we can sing more. 

That's a good idea for the blog... I'll see if I have time to start one. 

Good news: Kristin wants to get baptized!! She texted us the other night saying she really liked the chapter we had her read, Alma 32, and it was just what she needed to here and wants to be baptized!! SO we are going to set a date when we see her on Wednesday. 

Also, I can't remember if I told you about the Wiggins.. But brother wiggins we met at the fair and his non member family finally moved here! So We set a date with his two kids on March 9!! His wife believes everything and knows that it's true, but has been smoking since she was 16 and doen't think she can quit. We'll see how that works out. I hope that the whole fam can get baptized!!

I'll definitely pray for rain. It's so crazy how wet it is here. It rained a lot last week. They shut down schools here for two days because it was supposed to get icy and snow, but it never did. It just rained and was really cold. It sounds like you had fun in Idaho. Isn't it weird that a year ago I was in Idaho with y'all and that's when i had my sledding mishap. Haha i would say good times... But 13 stitches wasn't really a good time.

I liked your story about being the answer to someone's prayer. It kinda reminded me of that story about the bread from the general RS meeting. That's one of my favorite things on my mission- When we decide to go to someone's house and share a thought and then they ask us how we knew to go see them and that that was exactly what they needed to hear. It just goes to show how important it is that we follow the spirit. 

I got my package. Thank you so much! I don't know if it will get cold again here though. The weather is so crazy. And today is 75 and humid! And yes, I'm teaching Sister Merchant good habits. We are into a good routine and have lots of fun. It was finally warm enough to go running this morning, thank goodness. We are running out of things to do inside and there are lots of ants that we have to avoid. 

Kristin came to church yesterday! Yay! I'm excited to start meeting with her again. She invited us over for dinner on tuesday and I can't wait! Melanie and Celeste are so hard to get a hold of, but we taught Celeste twice last week on Facebook!! It was so cool. I never thought I would be teaching people through facebook. And tomorrow at zone conference, we get iPad minis!! I CAN"T WAIT!! But yes, you can like and share my FB posts. Please do. And if you have any good ideas for a blog, let me know. 

That's good that you got the book. I still haven't finished it, but so far it is really good! Not too much happened this week. We had SO many appointments fall through...which wasn't very fun. Also we have had a hard time getting members to come to our appointments with us. We are going to start a sign up sheet in relief society, so hopefully that will help. Sister merchant and I sang at an old man's funeral this week. We sang I am a Child of God, and I think we sounded pretty good. 

The best thing that happened this week was yesterday at church. Toya got up to bear her testimony and the spirit was so strong! She didn't tell any weird stories or do anything that someone that has just joined the church might do, but she sounded like she had been a member her whole life. When she was up their talking I was just so amazed at how much she had changed. Heavenly Father worked through me to find her and teach her about the gospel. When she was talking I KNEW that this is exactly where I am supposed to be and that I am fulfilling my purpose as a missionary. 

Read 3 Nephi 11. It shows how much Christ loves each and every one of us.
