Helloooo!
Sorry this is so late. Things are really good here. India got baptized
on Saturday, so that was exciting. We need to find some new people to
teach now! My new companion is different... She's not very happy and
she's really quiet... Less than 6 weeks though! We started the car
share and it's really hard. Luckily when it rained on Thursday night a
member took us home so we didn't have to ride the three miles uphill
in the rain.
My talk went really well, it was just me that spoke. I got a lot of
compliments. I talked about why we need to study the gospel and how to
study. And I shared a few stories of people I've taught on my mission.
That's cool that we have relatives that were there. What were there
names so I can look them up?
A month ago we met a man named Jim tracting. We were talking to him
and he said that he feels like the bible is incomplete so we told him
about the Book of Mormon. He wouldn't accept it because he said he
needed to get glasses so he could see it, but that we should come back
in three weeks. So we did and he was still interested, it wasn't just
an excuse! He said he's been looking for something to read so he's
excited to read the Book of Mormon. So that was really good. We have
another appointment with him on Tuesday, so hopefully he starts
progressing!

This week was really good! The weeks have been going by so fast and I
can hardly remember what happened. India is getting baptized on
Saturday!! I'm really excited for her and she's super excited too. It
should be really good.
Yes, there's a set of elders in our ward too. The ward has been
feeding us every night, so that's nice! They've been warming up to us
a lot now that they've realized we actually work hard and get things
accomplished. They've had some bad missionaries in the past.
We did a lot of yard work with our investigator yesterday and we
helped another investigator clean, pack, and move.
I'm planning on doing a musical number next month, the lady I'm doing
it with will be out of town for March, so I have to wait til she gets
back. I'm speaking in church on Sunday and my topic is something like,
how has your personal study influenced your mission and the people you
teach..., I have no idea what I'm going to say.. Any ideas?
I'm excited to go to the temple and the gym too.
I just found out a few minutes ago that we're being put into a car
share. So we switch off every other day from bikes to a car. I'm not
really looking forward to it, especially since it's about to be rainy
season. Maybe I'll lose weight though! Haha I'll probably just give my
bike to someone or give it to the mission when I'm done.
And I'll only go shopping one more time!! I just have to get something
cute to come home in, then I'll be done. I promise! And how do I know
how much money is in my account? How much is in there now?
I don't have very much time, but I love you! See you in six weeks! Im
started the BoM again if y'all want to join me!

Hey!
Today and yesterday have actually been really nice! Like in the 70s.
But the beginning of last week was reallyyyyy cold. Florida weather is
crazy!
So Elder Zwick came to our mission again on Wednesday with Michael
Hemmingway, who's the head of online proselyting. They talked a lot
about our iPads and using them correctly. Apparently there's been a
big problem with people using them to do bad things. Sad. So all iPad
missions are getting brand new ones this week and they're doing a
"technology restart." So we're going to go through a lot of trainings
before we can use facebook again, which will be about two months. So
basically my time as a facebook missionary is over. It was fun while
it lasted! Elder Zwick emphasis that "your heart is your best filter."
It was a really good meeting though and we got to see the new easter
initiative that comes out next month called #becausehelives. It was
really good. So that's something to look forward to!
The family that gave away their boms had to reschedule, so that was a bummer.
Sister Stockett is really sad to go home. She's stressing out.
Transfers are next week and I'm pretty sure I'm staying here since we
have a baptism on the 7th.
This week we had a 19 yr old girl come on a mini mission with us, so
it was like a day and half. It was super fun! We went tracting with
her and we met this really creepy older man. He kept telling us how
pretty were and at the end of us the lesson was like, "I hold hands
when I pray" and reached for our hands and then Sister Stockett was
like, " I think we'll hold our own hands." It was really funny and I
think the poor girl is traumatized. Hahah we told her that she needs
to get used to stuff like that because it happens all too often.
It was a really good week though. Time is just flyingggg by!

Sounds like another fun week! Thanks for the package!! What were those things anyways? They were really good! Have fun in Reno! Don't forget to send pictures!
Boooo. Davis won't be at the airport? Will kennedy be there? Or who else will be there? Can't believe it's in two months!!
This week went by really fast. We had zone conference and it was really good. It was my last one. So weird. We had some really good lessons. Marsha was out of town so she couldn't come to church but she has read her reading assignment twice and wrote down questions. We're seeing her on Thursday. So we're excited!
The ward has been getting a lot better here. We just got a new ward mission leader yesterday and he is super excited and involved, so that will be a good change. Members are reaching out to us and our investigators more, so that's been really good too. 

Valentine's Day was really good and we ran around like crazy delivering cards and cookies to members and investigators, it was really fun. 

Yesterday we had a miracle! We hadn't been able to teach any other lessons and it was getting late. We were trying to think of who we could go see and I thought to visit a family that we had dropped because they lived nearby (the Escobars). I kept driving because the last 5 times we had tried to contact them no one was home. The impression was really strong though so we went to their house and prayed that someone would answer. And they did! It was such a miracle. We found out that they had actually given their copies of the Book of Mormon to some friends that were interested and they wanted another copy. So we're going back on Friday to bring them one and teach them! I'm so thankful for the spirit and the ability to recognize it!

Sorry this is so late! But this week was really good! It went by so
fast!! The Book of Mormon musical was really fun. We went to three
night performances and one matinée. We didn't get back from the night
ones til after midnight and I was so tired! And my feet and back hurt
from walking around all night and carrying around a million book of
Mormons, but it was worth it. We ended up giving out over a thousand
Book of Mormons all together, and we only have them to people that
asked for them. So that was cool, hopefully they'll read them!
Yesterday we actually had someone come to church because he saw the
musical and didn't like it and wanted to learn more. The elders are
going to teach him though. Most people there were pretty nice and a
lot of them said they appreciated what we were doing. Only a few rude
people. A lot of people had questions about us being girl missionaries
and about Joseph smith translating the Book of Mormon.
Marsha came to church yesterday and was going to get baptized on March
1... But they don't do Sunday baptisms... And sister stockett goes
home the 4th. So we'll have to figure something out. We met the mom
and daughter tracting, but didn't get to see them last week since we
were so busy and so were they.
Exciting news, the ten year old of a family that we have been working
with asked to be baptized and wants us to teach her!! So we should be
having some baptisms soon!
And Robin Mitchell is a different Robin than the one that plays the
guitar. Jenny is doing pretty good, still goes to church on and off.

Hellooooo,
So it was actually a Mom and a daughter. They forgot about our
appointment, but we talked to the for a while and they still want to
learn. So we're going back on Thursday. Dee had to work yesterday, so
he couldn't come to church. But he did come to mutual on Tuesday and
we had a lesson with him. He said that the people from his church told
him that the Book of Mormon is a little "fishy", so that's why his
family backed off, but he says he wants to learn enough about it so he
can defend it, so that's cool! We met a new person who said she will
be baptized when she gets an answer and set a date with our
investigator Marsha for this month! Yay!
Dad said your talk went well, good job! And good job on your goals!
The most exciting thing about last week is that Sister Stockett and I
found out that we are one of the 12 companionships going to the Book
of Mormon musical this week! I'm excited, but really nervous too. We
are going to four of the performances and will be talking to people
giving them mormon.org cards that say, "the book is always better."
We'll be there an hour before and an hour after, so it'll make for a
long night! We've heard that a lot of miracles have come from it, so
we'll see. Hopefully people are nice! Pray for us!

Also, Jenny Gray from Macclenny came and took us to lunch today. And
Robin from Macclenny took us out on Saturday, so that was fun.
Can you please send me all the pictures of people from my four
generation chart? We have to fill in this pamphlet for zone conference
next week.

Sorry it's taken me so long to email. It's been a busy morning!! I got
permission to register for classes and fill out counselor applications
so I've been working on that. It's so stressful!!
We just had stake conference this weekend, and ours was on councils
too!  Elder Larry Y. Wilson came to ours and gave some good talks.
This week was good. Went by super fast. We helped a member decorate
150 cupcakes so that was fun. Dee came to mutual on Tuesday and had a
really good time. We met a less active who is super nice and gave us
iPad cases! And she made us hold her lizards haha. We knocked quite a
few doors and met some new people. One time we only had like 30
minutes to do Golden hour... But we set a goal to teach two lessons
and get two new investigators, and we did it! So that was exciting.
